Giveaway: Awake Audiobook!

I am so excited that the audiobook for Awake: A Fairytale is now available at Audible, Amazon, and iTunes.  To celebrate I’m giving away a copy!

Kate Metroka did a fabulous job of narrating Awake; I hope you all love it!

Also, a huge thank you to my cover designer Victoria Austen-Young for redesigning the cover for audiobook format!

Alexandra Martin didn’t believe in fairytales…

Alex has always been more interested in rocks and science than stories about princesses and magic. Now she’s far too busy with her summer internship at the Gem and Mineral Museum to think about children’s stories. Between avoiding her former best friend and high school baseball star, Luke Reed, and trying to hide her unrequited crush on her mentor at the museum, the real world is occupying all of her time.

…Until she walked into one.

It turns out fairytales aren’t all fun and games. A curse has turned her neat and orderly world upside down, and to break it, she bands together with a fellow intern and a recently awakened princess, who’s been asleep for almost 900 years. Can this trio of unlikely heroines put an end to an ominous enchantment, discover true love, and keep an ancient and evil magic from being unleashed on modern-day Los Angeles?

  1. Honestly, I’m pretty sure I’ve never listened to an Audiobook in my life. Shocking, I know … but now that I’ve got a CD player (and USB port) in my new wheelz, I’m considering experimenting …

As for favorite fairy tale: East o’ the Sun, West o’ the Moon, of course 😉

  2. I’ve listened to several, the most recent being a Clive Cussler book on oneclickdigital. 🙂

My favorite fairy tale is.. Beauty and the Beast!!! Which is why I’m super excited about the upcoming book .

  3. Strangely enough, I recently set up an account at I downloaded the app and now I’ll spend tomorrow trying to figure out how to use it. *sighs*

  4. You know I’m a huge audiobook fan. My favorite is probably… Current favorite is the How to Train Your Dragon series, narrated by David Tennant. I love the LOTR recordings done by Rob Inglis and P&P by Kate Reading.

  5. I discovered Rachel Caine’s Morganville Vampire Series. I loved how the narrator changed her voice for the different characters.
